Visit to Jurong Bird Park

I haven't been blogging much, sad. I do miss it and will try to get back into it, because I like looking back at old posts: such a good way to remember what I was doing at the time!

So Singapore has a really cool bird park. It's basically a zoo, but only for birds (over 3000 of them, with 380 species), and has the world's largest walk-in aviary, 9-story high aviary for parrots (you can feed them if you like), an awesome water park for children, a large outdoor playground, etc. It's about a 15-minute drive from our house and we have a membership, so we go there fairly often.

We went with F (R's little friend) about a month ago (I am behind!) Looking at these pictures is a little strange because R already looks older (at least to me).
Having intense conversation
Riding in the wagon together
R looking at the flamingos
Usually R is the leader: F loves to copy her
R loves all slides
Getting hot...
F on the carousel
R on carousel: she wasn't sure about it (she likes to be in control of her movements)
In the coin-operated car
Very focused
R is happy because she's succeeded in taking F's Dora water bottle
Investigating some exhibits
One of the free bird shows: our family has a history with pelicans so I liked seeing them especially

  1. How nice that little R has a friend her age! It looks like they have a good time together.
